What is this course about?
Pharmacists are legal drug dealers. In the Pharmacy course, you will study medicinal substances and ensure the safe and effective use of medications. You will learn how to prepare and dispense medicine as well as review medications and provide the right drug information for patients.

How long is this course?
A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy takes approximately three to four years to complete.
What are the skills and characteristics required in this field?
You should have a strong interest in disease management, health issues and sciences associated with medicine development and clinical use. It would also be helpful if you have a voluntary spirit andprior experience in administrating humanitarian aid to the unfortunate, sick or injured.
Where do I go after my diploma/degree?
After graduation, you must complete a one year pupilage or pre-registration training and pass a Forensic examination conducted by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. You must then complete three years of compulsory government service before you can register as a pharmacist.

You will find career opportunities in public and private sectors including government hospitals, private hospitals, community practice and the pharmaceutical industry.
